Journey

When the brushwood thins and the knots in the road unravel
when your path is not rock nor bog
and your journey is less obscure,
do not seek ways to slow yourself down,
to grind away the soles of your shoes,
to bleed your feet.
The  blood and the mud will find their way.
For now, trudge on, while there is still a clearing.
